‘The pleasure of patterns and paintings’ Newsletter October 2017

“A PATTERNED APPROACH”
An Exhibition by JANET MAYLED

Preview Friday October 13th 5:00-8:00pm

We are delighted to announce Janet Mayled’s first solo exhibition at the gallery from 13th to 28th October.
Janet’s approach to her work is to consider compositional signposts such as perspective, foreground and mid-ground to lead the viewer’s eye around the image.
Using mixed media, she builds layers of patterns and connections to create her distinctive work.
Read our interesting interview with Janet on our website.

Beautiful artwork by many of our favourite artists will still be on display throughout October, i.e. Anna Thomas, Lewis Noble, Ruth Gray, Kay Boyce, M.D. Hyde and many more.
